Voting Districts
After each census is complete, local governments are tasked to complete a redistricting plan. The Cumberland County Commission completed the redistricting plan on November 15, 2021. Below is a graph that breaks down the districts by population and shows the variation from the target of 6,794 people per district, as well as the variation. The overall county deviation is 2.71 percent. The goal is a deviation of 10 percent or less.
