No Trash November: Homesteads

This event has ended

Litter Prevention and Education of Cumberland County will be hosting a “NO TRASH NOVEMBER” clean-up event on part of HWY 68 and also part of HWY 127 in the Homestead Community.  This is a new campaign launched by the Tennessee Department of Transportation to get all counties involved in Litter Pick-ups before the holidays.  What a great way to clean up our county before we have family and tourists traveling through our area!

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

We will meet at the Homestead Tower that morning at 8 a.m.  If you have litter grabbers please bring them.  Gloves, safety vest, trash bags, bottled water and limited litter grabbers will be provided by Litter Prevention and Education.

If you have any questions contact Carrie Smith with Cumberland County Solid Waste @ 931-335-1636.

Hope to see you there!
