Christmas on the Plateau

This event has ended

During the Christmas on the Plateau event, the park will be doing a toy drive to help kids have a very Merry Christmas! Those who wish to donate toys can drop those off at the park office until the day of the event, or if you plan on attending the event you can bring them to the recreation lodge that day.  Please bring toys unwrapped!

5:00 pm – 6:15 pm –  Homemade Ornaments and Christmas Crafts | Join our crafters to make a variety of different homemade Christmas tree ornaments and crafts to hang on the park tree or decorate your house and tree at home!

6:15 pm – 6:35 pm Whoooo? Who Cooks for You? | Join the park ranger for an up close and personal encounter with McKenzie the Barred Owl. She’s no reindeer, but she’s just as cute!

7:00 pm – Santa Clause | Santa will be stopping by Cumberland Mountain to give kids a chance to get those last minute wishes in before Christmas! Santa will also be available for photos with your kids. Please bring your own camera!!

Adults and kids alike can also sip on some hot chocolate, coffee, or hot cider and snack on some cookies while enjoying the sounds of Christmas carols!

**Don’t forget to bring a toy for the toy drive.
