Allen Funt’s son Peter reflects on decades of hilarity during an evening of new and fresh practical jokes. Before “Punk’d” and “Impractical Jokers,” there was “Candid Camera,” the original hidden-camera TV series. The show, with its signature gentle humor and “Smile! You’re on ‘Candid Camera’” gotcha phrase, reigns as the only one to have produced episodes in eight decades, since Allen Funt made his debut in 1948. His son and comedic heir, Peter Funt, now presents an evening of hilarity inspired by the original Candid Camera called CANDID CAMERA’S LAUGH OUT LOUD (LOL) TOUR – a fast-paced stage show that combines new clips, behind-the-scenes stories with plenty of audience participation and special surprises to make the show a great night of fun.
