I feel honored and consider it a privilege to serve the citizens of Cumberland County as their Mayor.
The County Mayor is the chief financial officer of the county and performs duties and administrative tasks and interacts with other county officials in almost every area of local administration. The Mayor serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Upper Cumberland Development District and Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency. The County Mayor is often viewed as a representative of the county or as the county’s leader in dealing with other governmental entities.
